
Business Advisory Council (BAC) is the Government's advisory body, for the development of economic policies and to improve the relevant legal framework. Part of the BAC-are organizations that represent a wide range of businesses, state institutions, NGOs, and its activity is regulated by law no. 9607 date 11.09.2006 "For the Business Advisory Council and the Regulation for the functioning of the Business Advisory Council. Specifically, the Business Advisory Council prepares recommendations for the government and the Parliament, related to the drafting process of governmental strategies , programs of economic development, the process of preparing the state budget and fiscal policies, privatization policies , public procurement policies, investment promotion policies, trade and business development policies, competition policies, market supervision and consumer protection.
Business Advisory Council consists of 18 members and chaired by the Chairman, who is Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy, while, the organization of its activities is provided by the Technical Secretariat. Business Advisory Council for certain issues, for problems that concern the business community decides to establish “ad doc” Consulting Commissions which according to the topic prepare studies, observations and recommendations which are presented for approval to the BAC.
Business Advisory Council prepares and publishes the Business Annual Guide, which represents a summary of the information, evaluation of the existing legal framework set in our country, made by donors, international financial organizations and institutions, in comparison with the countries of the region through several indicators. Guide also includes changes that the legal and institutional framework has made during the period of one year.
